On consignment....
1952 Gibson Southern Jumbo Acoustic Guitar
This is a true original classic. It shows plenty of honest play-wear on front, back and sides.
Being a banjo guy and not well versed on these old guitars, I'm hoping the pics tell most of the story. Many more pics available upon request. Any and all questions will be forwarded to the owner who has probably forgotten more about these than I'll ever know. I can say that it appears that three (3) of the back braces are newer replacements.
I won't bother boring you with all of the specs, etc.. If you're reading this ad, you probably know exactly what you're looking at.
The case may or may not be original to the instrument, but it's an old Gibson case specifically made for this model.
I will ship this to anywhere in the lower 48 states for a flat fee of $150. (I normally use UPS Ground for instruments.) It will come in a brand new, sturdy guitar box. It will be well packed, both inside and outside the case, fully insured of course.
Two-day return policy applies with buyer paying shipping both ways. Sorry, but this tends to weed out a lot of the folks who just want to "try it out".
