    A very beautiful, well preserved Authentic Antique banjara Tribal envelope bag.
    Banjaras embroidery was an embellishment of functional and ceremonial items, these bags were the first exchanged during the wedding by the bride's family to Groom.The pattern of embroidery is chain stitch and all the colors used in it are natural dyes from stones and plants.its a early 19th century piece
    These envelope bags were naturally evolve out of an affection for the square as they were easily constructed by stitching two seams closed.
    PS: it's an authentic Antique Banjara envelope bag which is aged more then 80- 90 years old. Considering its age it is well preserved, but please do not treat any irregularities as defects.
