    Description

    This is an original antique 1899 catalog of stationery, office equipment, dolls, music boxes, art pottery, cut glass, vanity items, pens, musical instruments and lots more issued by the John L. Boland Book and Stationery Company of St. Louis, Missouri.    This is a stout heavy catalog of 568 pages in the original soft cover binding measuring about 8.75” x 11.5”.    The title page reads:
    Season 1899-1900 Illustrated Catalogue of STATIONERY School Supplies, Druggists’ Sundries, Albums And Holiday Goods – John L. Boland Book and Stationary Company, Fourth, St. Charles and Vine Streets, Saint Louis
    This catalog is profusely illustrated throughout including a couple color insert pages and illustrates thousands of items sold by the company in 1899-1900.  There is some loss to pages 545/546, 547/548 and the unnumbered colored insert page that follows but the catalog is otherwise fully complete and well intact.   The last 25 pages or so show some staining but nothing stuck together or moldy and the rest of the pages are in very good condition overall.   This catalog is an original antique issued by the company in 1899 with thousands of items illustrated.   Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
